Accepting an offer

If the Admissions Team accepts your application, they will notify you on OpenApply. Please note that not all classes have spaces, so your child(ren) may be placed on the waiting list until a spot opens up.

Once a space becomes available for your child(ren), you will be contacted again by the Admissions Team via Open Apply and asked to pay the Confirmation Fee. This is to be submitted no later than the deadline given by the school. Only once this is received, is your child’s seat secure and we can confirm your child’s enrolment. Please note that the Confirmation Fee represents partial payment of the Capital Fee per child. The Confirmation Fee is nonrefundable if you choose not to come to AIS after you have confirmed enrollment of your child.

Please note: Should you choose to postpone your child’s start date after having been offered a seat, you may risk losing the seat.

Book a tour

Welcome to Aarhus International School
We are always very happy to meet new families: show you around our school, find out about you, and answer your questions.

Physical tours are scheduled on a per-campus basis, and there is a possibility of conducting the tour online if you have not yet arrived in Aarhus.

Please note: Currently, our kindergarten and main campuses are in separate locations, as we are currently rebuilding and expanding our school. From August 2024, we estimate to have all classes situated on our main campus site.

If you have children applying for programs in more than one campus, please schedule a separate tour per child.

If your children are applying for different programs on the same campus, only one tour needs to be scheduled.

If you need any assistance, email our admissions office
