Inclusion Statement

Aarhus International School is fully committed to a comprehensive approach to diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice for all. To this end, we pursue and enforce policies that protect and celebrate all people, regardless of their nationality, ethnicity, race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, or political views. These beliefs underpin our curriculum, recruitment practices and ways of communicating and collaborating with all members of the school community. As a Danish private school, we value the democratic foundation of Danish school law, which mirrors the Danish society of which we are all an active part. As an International Baccalaureate World school, AIS also aligns with the IB’s mission statement promoting intercultural understanding and respect.
