James Jefferys

MYP3 Homeroom & MYP Design Teacher

James Jefferys is AIS’s MYP Design teacher and MYP3 Homeroom teacher. He is also AIS’s Community Engagement Coordinator. James read Film, Radio & Television at Canterbury University and has a Post Graduate Certificate in International Education from the University of Nottingham. James is a singer-songwriter, as well as writer and producer for the band Failures Art, and lead guitarist in The April Rainers.

James is from Kent, UK and holds a BA in Film, Radio & Television from Canterbury Christ Church University, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from the University of Nottingham, and an International Baccalaureate Category II MYP Design Certification. He has worked with children from nursery to secondary level and with young adults at Danish Højskole level. As a singer-songwriter he has written more than thirty-five albums and made more with his bands. James has worked professionally as an actor, photographer, and musician, plays football and snooker, reads, and writes in his spare time.
